Defender Td5 and Tdci Lucas 10AS and Siemans ECU Replacment Module
UK designed and made Alarm ECU replacement module.
This is to replace all versions of the Defender Alarm ECU (normally referred to as a 10AS) including all 2013 onwards versions with and without an external receiver.
The new units are not plug and play, and you will have to send us your old alarm ECU so that we can copy some of the internal data.
Alarm ECUs can be unscrewed without having to remove the dashboard.
When posting your ECU – please label (with masking tape or permanent marker) your name and vehicle VIN.
There are two options of ECU.
Base Spec - No alarm fob required.
These will simply allow the engine to start and run, and operate the interior light when doors are opened. This the simplest, basic system available. Ideal for use in situations where the factory immobiliser is not required. No central locking function.
Full Spec – complete with 2x Lucas Style Alarm Fobs.
This will do everything the original alarm will do – so central locking, interior light control, alarm sounder and engine immobiliser. Please note these currently will not support Land Rover Diagnostics – which actually makes them more secure. New alarm fobs can only be programmed using our programming pods.
